Fifteen Seventy-One Woodworks is a Calgary, Alberta based small business run by husband and wife team, Mark & Gillian Horn.
Named after the address of the Naramata orchard, on which Mark spent his childhood exploring the orchard-lanes and learning from his late-Grandfather, James Barr. He was an artist, a professor, an inventor, and a wonderful grandfather who is greatly missed.
It is here that Mark first developed his love of shaping the wild materials around the orchard.
All of our pieces are made exclusively by Mark from various reclaimed species of wood along with and as few new materials as possible to make every piece both custom and unique!
